Barbara Ann Steinberg

Barbara Ann Steinberg, born on September 18, 1925, in Poughkeepsie, NY, was taken home to Heaven on January 4, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Pearsall Frost and Lillian May Frost; her husband, Samuel S. Steinberg; her son, Jeffrey Steinberg; and her brother, Arthur Frost. She is survived by daughter, Carol Ingersoll and husband, Buss; son, Mark Steinberg; grandson, Seth Ingersoll and wife, Erin; granddaughter, Sarah Johnson and husband, Brendan; and great-grandchildren, Aria Johnson, Avrielle Johnson, Blake Ingersoll, Weston Ingersoll, and Aubrey Ingersoll.
Barbara deeply loved her family and enjoyed life. She loved playing bridge with friends, the sunshine, animals, bright colors, and playing tennis with seniors in earlier years. Barbara's family would like to extend a special thank you to A Love For Life Assisted Living, as well as to her Hospice of New Mexico physician and nurse, for their kind, compassionate, and perfect care of her in her final days. Barbara desired that a formal memorial service not be held, so her family will honor that wish. Donations on Barbara's behalf can be made to the Animal Humane Society or to a charity of choice.
