RICHARDS, BARBARA J.
Age 85, a resident of Albuquerque since 1966, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2012. She is survived by her daughters, Laurel J. Kraemer and husband, Klarence of Albuquerque, and Farra L. Richards-Kirby and husband, Rocky of Edgewood; son, James E. Richards and wife, Priscilla of Murphy, TX; grandsons, Nicholas M. Kraemer and wife, Heather, Anthony J. Kraemer, and Alec C. Richards; granddaughter, Katelyn E. Richards; and great-grandson, Ashton J. Kraemer. Mrs. Richards was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Richards; and parents Roy E. and Effie Mae Case. She was a member of Desert Rose Chapter OES #70 Delta Zeta Sorority. She attended the University of Washington. Barbara worked with the US Army Signal Corps, Ft. Richardson, Alaska. After marriage, Mrs. Richards lived in various countries including Japan and France while her husband served in the US Air Force. After retirement in 1966, Barbara worked for and retired from Sears and volunteered for Presbyterian Hospital and the Albuquerque Convention Visitors Bureau.
