Barbara Jean Olsen, 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 8th, 2021. Barbara was one of two children born to Dale and Alice Fleeger on June 9th, 1939. She grew up in Chicago, attended college, met the love of her life Stan, married him and then was proud to receive her Master's in Education. Barbara was a dedicated High School Physical Education Teacher in Palatine, IL. After the loss of her husband and retirement Barbara moved to Albuquerque. Barbara had many favorite pastimes; theater, golf, traveling, and eating at her favorite restaurants. Barbara was the type who could find the subtle humor in a situation and tease it to the surface by using a brilliant one liner that only she could do. Her imprint will always be apart of us. Preceded by death are her parents, brother, and husband.
