Barbara Ann Lopez

Barbara, age 72, a lifelong resident of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, was called to Heaven to receive her angel wings on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. She is survived by her husband, Umberto Lopez of Las Vegas, NM, and Los Ranchos de Albuquerque; daughter, Danita Lopez; son, Vicente Lopez and girlfriend, MaryAnn; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Larry Duran and spouse, Shelia; sister, Cecilia Apodaca; brother, Tony Duran of Australia; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. Mrs. Lopez was preceded in death by her parents, Luciano Duran and Corina Duran.

Pallbearers will be Vicente Lopez (Son), Larry Duran JR (Nephew), Joey Duran (Nephew), Joe Sanchez (Cousin), Joshua Chavez (Cousin), and Abel Vasquez (Cousin). Viewing and A Rosary will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021, viewing will begin at 5:00 p.m. and Rosary will begin at 6:00 p.m., at FRENCH- Wyoming with Tony Perea Reciting and Music by Ed and Amelia Aragon. Mass will take place on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, 10:00 a.m., at St. Therese of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church, 3424 4th St NW, with Father Gabriel Gomez Officiating. Interment to follow on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, 1:30 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Those who wish to attend the Interment may meet at the Cemetery at 1:15 p.m. There will be no Reception due to Covid restrictions. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions can be made to Umberto Lopez, P.O. Box 25992 Albuquerque, NM, 87125.
