Barbara Kaufman

Barbara Kaufman, age 91, beloved mother and grandmother, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 19, 2021. She was born Saturday, August 31, 1929, sharing her birthday with her mother. Barbara was born to George and Edna Brown in Albuquerque, NM. She is survived by her children, Don Kaufman (Bonnie), Lynn Davis (Dave), and Randy Kaufman (Francie); grandchildren, Nicole List (Josh), Eric Kaufman (Denise), Tami Hilman (Rich), Lori Panning (Jon), Josh Kaufman, Leighton Kaufman (sons), and Mandi Kaufman. She leaves great-grandchildren Colton, Paxton, Remington, Taylin, and Oliver. She was preceded in death by her loving husband and best friend, Bob Kaufman.

Barbara was born and raised in Albuquerque. She graduated from Albuquerque High School. She was an active member of Harwood United Methodist Church where she served in many capacities. There she coordinated many women's events and made cherished friends. Barbara was a volunteer at Presbyterian Hospital for 25+ years. She brought a smile to many faces as they navigated the hospital floors. Some of her favorite past times were going to Elephant Butte Lake with family and friends and traveling with their motorhome club. In her later years, she enjoyed the companionship of her puppies and the time spent with family.

A visitation will be held Thursday, July 22, 2021, 4:00 p.m. at FRENCH-University. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 23, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at FRENCH-University followed by a grave site visit at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
