Barbara Hodock

Barbara Hodock, aka "The Queen", was born on July 27th, 1948, passed away after a valiant fight with a long-term illness on July 7th, 2016. She was a dedicated nurse for 42 years and after her death, she continued to give through organ donation. Her life long passion was music. Barbara was the choir director for the UNM Aquinas Newman Center 4:30 Mass, a vocalist with the Albuquerque Civic Chorus, Soli Deo Gloria, Kindred Voices and the UNM University Chorus. She is survived by her sisters Teresa Hodock, Suzie Duff, husband Lee, nephew Colin Duff, wife Heidi and son Tristin, niece Megan Schuller, husband Robert and son Cory, sister-in-law Maureen Hodock, nephews: Michael, Stephen and John, nieces: Katharine, Annie Lussier, husband Robert and son Bo. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Barbara's name to "de Profundis" men's choral group. She was considered their number one fan. www.depro.org.
