Barbara Ann Gutierrez-Swiderski

Barbara Gutierrez-Swiderski, 74, beloved wife, mother, and sister was called to her eternal resting place on February 24, 2017.
She entered this world on July 20, 1942 in Albuquerque, NM, born to Natividad and Alfonsa Gallegos. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Denny Gallegos. She is survived by her spouse, Mark Swiderski; daughter, Denise Gutierrez (Angel Chavez); sister, Mary Sanchez (Daniel); sister-in-law, Katy Gallegos; and many nieces and nephews.
She was a 1960 graduate of St. Mary's High School and worked for Mountain Bell / AT&T for 30 years. She was a dedicated volunteer for Make a Wish Foundation. Although she developed Muscular Dystrophy after working, she never lost her love of God, her zest for life and love for her family and friends.
A Rosary Service will be recited on Friday, March 3, 2017, 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, March 4, 2017, 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima, 4020 Lomas Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Albuquerque.
