Barbara Alene (Ralston) Aguilar

Barbara Alene Aguilar, 82, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 22, 2019. Barbara was born November 3, 1936 in Albuquerque, NM to Ford and Bernice Ralston. She grew up in Bernalillo, NM and married Cayetano “Tony” Aguilar on February 9, 1955. The greatest love in her life was her family.

Barbara is survived by her four children, Pam Lett (Dan), Greg Aguilar (Nita), Kathy Clark (Glenn), and Mark Aguilar (Annette); 10 grandchildren, Hannah and Sarah Lett, Glenda Lucero (Eugene), Cody Aguilar (Ginny), Jamie Horspool (Bryan), Rachel Devine (Danny), Aaron Clark (Spencer), Danae West (Brian), Christopher and Eden Aguilar; and 19 great-grandchildren, Cassandra, Bryson, Brooklyn, Ethan, Grace, Olivia, Aurora, Raegan, Cayetano, Ty, Jack, Luke, Laura, Lucy, Ruby, Elle, Lilly, Cassius, and Chanel. Barbara is also survived by her beloved sisters, Sandy Houston and Cindy Gutierrez; and she loved her numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years; her parents; and both brothers, Dick and Cecil Ralston.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, October 1, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Wyoming. Services will be held Wednesday, October 2, 2019, 10:00 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Bernalillo Chapel, 275 Avenida De Bernalillo, Bernalillo, NM. There will be a viewing at the church beginning at 9:00 a.m. Interment will take place at 12:45 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
