Aya Brown, age 91, of Los Lunas, NM passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at her home in Los Lunas.
Aya Brown was born January 1, 1929 in Kumamoto City, Japan to Shigeru and Kimi Kimura. While in Japan, she met and married the love of her life, Air Force Sergeant Keith Brown, on January 18, 1965. They relocated to various locations in the United States while Keith served in the military and public sector, and ultimately settled in Los Lunas where Keith passed away in 2006.
Aya is survived by two sisters, Setsuko Yokota and Reiko Watanabe; one brother, Isao Kimura; and several nieces and nephews in Kumamoto, Japan; as well as her niece, Margaret Davis who resides in Los Angeles, California. She was preceded in death by her parents. Although she didn’t have children of her own, she served as surrogate mother and grandmother to many. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She has joined her beloved husband, Keith at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107 in a beautiful niche in Hall Time, Row C, Crypt 57-B, along with eternal memorabilia, which is available for public viewing.
