Austine Marie Quintana

September 30, 1985 — August 11, 2022

Austine Marie Quintana of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2022. She was 36 at the time of her passing.

Austine was born on September 30, 1985, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was the first born of 5 siblings. Austine is survived by her two children who made up the entirety of her world, Urijah Gonzales, and Ayden Romero. Besides her children, Austine is survived by her mother, Cathleen Snyder, her father Agustin Estrada JR., her sisters Adriana Quintana, Julia Estrada and Jamey Estrada, her brothers Luke Estrada and Samuel Estrada, and her grandparents, Evangelina Estrada, Agustin Estrada, and Robert Michels. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and friends.

Austine had a heart of gold, she was kind, funny, selfless, and loyal, she was trusting and gave too much. Austine always tried to find the positive in any situation she faced. In turn, doing her best to block out the negatives, which is where mental illness and alcohol came into play. These things offered Austine an escape from the battles she faced throughout her life.

Before all of this, Austine thrived at life, her best times were when she gave birth to Urijah Gonzales on August 8, 2010, and Ayden Romero on October 31, 2020. Austine loved her children more than anything in the world. She loved taking them to expensive restaurants and taking silly selfies with them. Austine also loved to go on many vacations, she loved traveling, on many nights, she would drive around just listening and singing music, driving relaxed her. Austine loved the finer things in life, such as Chanel and Louis Vuitton handbags. She had a love for any type of food, a connoisseur some would say, especially when it came to crab legs. She would always be willing to try new things, especially spicy food! She loved to play jokes such as sneaking ghost chilis into people's food when they were not looking, she had a great sense of humor. She would also spend her days with her sisters and children, shopping, or at spas, her favorite was Ten Thousand Waves, in Santa Fe, NM. Austine loved her work life and was passionate about being a sales representative for T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T. She excelled at her sales and became number one for her district and region several times with multiple carriers. She enjoyed the competition and helping people with their cell phone plans. She would always have the latest and greatest new gadgets to show the family, and would convince us to get them as well, she was quite the salesperson!

Austine's life will be celebrated at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2022, with time to visit with the family starting 3:00 PM at FRENCH-Westside.
