Aurora D. Baldonado

Aurora D. Baldonado, 94, went to be with the Lord on July 19, 2021, peacefully with her family by her side.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Abran Dreyfus and Aurora Armijo; brother, Joe Dreyfus of CA; husband, Susano Baldonado; sons, Charles Baldonado and Michael Baldonado, Sr. and daughter Hope Baldonado. Aurora is survived by her children, Richard Baldonado (Anne) of Boston, Regina Saavedra (Eloyd) of Albuquerque, Herman Baldonado (Isabel) of Albuquerque, Anthony Baldonado, Sr. (Elizabeth) of Albuquerque, Susan Jaramillo (Ken) of Albuquerque; 18 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren, as well as many friends, and loved ones.

She was born in San Marcial, NM and lived in Albuquerque for the remainder of her life. She loved crocheting, playing bingo, going to the casino, and spending time with her family.  Aurora was an active member of San Felipe de Neri Parish, participating in service ministries such as hospitality, working the fiestas, and Madres Cristianas. Aurora's desire to serve others led her to volunteer in developing the bereavement ministry here at San Felipe Parish, along with her close friend Socorro Gonzales, to help others in mourning by providing their services for family and mourners to gather.  Aurora was also a member of the Cursillo Movement. Her life was spent giving generously to anyone that was in need whether it was food, money, compassion, love, or prayers.  Aurora has blessed many with her smile, generosity, and true faith in God.

A Rosary followed by Mass will be celebrated Monday, July 26, 2021, beginning at 10:30 a.m. at San Felipe de Neri Church, 2005 N. Plaza Street NW. Pallbearers will be Christopher Baldonado, Michael Baldonado Jr., Eloyd Saavedra Jr., Dennis Baldonado,  Dominic Baldonado, Anthony L. Baldonado, Jr., and Mario Baldonado. Joshua Jaramillo and Brendan Baldonado will be Honorary Pallbearers.
