August "Gus" Nessmann

August "Gus" Nessmann, 74, died peacefully at home February 13, 2016. He is survived by his Fiance' Tina of Albuquerque; two brothers and three sisters, all of Austria; and many other family and friends. Born and raised in Austria by August Sr and Maria Nessmann and moved to Canada and then to the United States where he lived in El Paso for over 40 years. He then moved to Albuquerque to be near Tina. Gus had his own European Automotive Shop in El Paso where he was an expert mechanic, owner and broker. He enjoyed his friends and always making new acquaintances. Gus truly enjoyed humor and making people laugh. He will be dearly missed. A Mass will be celebrated Saturday, February 20, 2016, 9:00 a.m. at The Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11509 Indian School Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM with burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
