On January 6, 2022, God had a plan to gain the most beautiful angel heaven has seen. God gave Ashley her angel wings so she could fly to her eternal home in heaven. We can only begin to fathom the reunion in heaven Ashley had with her loved ones, most in particular her daddy. We can only imagine that sweet, beautiful innocent little girl running into her daddy's arms as he calls out for her, "Bernadette Soubirous".

On March 25, 1996, God blessed Eric and Dolores Valencia with their Beautiful baby girl Ashley Bernadette Valencia. Ashley is the princess of the family, who will always be remembered for her sweet innocents, contagious beautiful smile, and her laugh. Ashley had a pure heart of gold; her love could be felt by anyone who came in contact with her. Ashley was intelligent and embraced life, and had many dreams and goals ahead of her.

The last two years of Ashley's life were her most happy and memorable, because on September 19, 2020, Ashley married the love of her life Concepcion Mancilla-Huerta. Ashley and Concepcion began building a beautiful life together. They went on to have two fur babies the joys of her life Jason and Bruno. Ashley cared and loved Jason and Bruno with all her heart, which was no surprise as Ashley was a huge animal lover.

Ashley had a passion for family, food, coffee, traveling, and movies. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. She enjoyed making family, friends, and strangers happy, and especially her wife. Ashley was always putting everyone before herself. Ashley's heart was pure, quiet, shy, and innocent. Ashley was very family oriented and only wanted the best for her family.
Ashley was loved dearly by her grandmother, Lucresia "Lou" Valencia; siblings, Brian (Stephanie), Brenda (Javier), and Octavian (Juan). Ashley was loved dearly by her siblings as she was the spoiled baby princess. She was loved greatly by her nephew, James; nieces, Francine, Jacqueline "Jackie", Dominique "Nikki", and Estrella; Godparents, Mary and Jesus Rosas; God sisters, Anna Mendez and Arianna Almeida; many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and coworkers.

Waiting for Ashley in Heaven were her grandfathers, John Paul Pena and Tito Valencia; grandmother, Helen Pena; aunts, Frances Pena, Connie Pena; uncles, Tommy Pena (Darlene Pena), Paul Pena, Frankie Pena, Raymond Pena, Nate Pena, Fernando Pena, Joe Pena, Louie Pena, Ron Valencia, Manuel Valencia, Jude Valencia; and cousins, Stephen Valencia, Ronnie Jr. Valencia, and Ronnie Rosas.

Ashley will be deeply missed by her wife, mother, grandmother, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and anyone who knew Ashley the day the Lord called you home. A part of us went with you so you didn't leave alone. It broke our hearts to lose you. We didn't want to see you go we hope you knew we loved you more than you will ever know. Heaven must be so beautiful as God always takes the best. He knew you were tired, so he lifted you to rest. Your pain and suffering is over, no more will it be. Know we celebrate your new life as you worship by God's Throne.

Ashley's family would like to extend their gratitude to everyone who has shown support to them during this difficult time.

A service and viewing of beautiful Ashley will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022, 2:00 p.m., at FRENCH - Westside.
