Arthur John Martin, age 77, our selfless and unwavering "Granddad" became our guardian angel Sunday, October 4, 2015. Art, born May 13, 1938 in Ohio, met and married his high school sweetheart in California, then settled his family as a Lithographer for 45 years, then spent his retirement driving for Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Art enjoyed weekends in the Jemez mountains, dirt track racing, golfing, and was an avid Optimist member since 1982 dedicated to the community's youth. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Lillian Martin and sister, Hannah. Art is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lynne; brother, Tom and wife, Julie of CA; son, David and wife, Sally of Sandia Park, NM; daughter, Cathy and husband, Tom of Capitan, NM; and grandchildren, Sarah, David, Jonathan and Daniel. A Celebration of Life will take place Friday, October 9, 2015, 1:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas.
