Arlo Murken

MURKEN, ARLO FRANCISAge 85, of Albuquerque, NM, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 9, 2012 at his home. Arlo was born in Story City, IA, on December 23, 1926 and earned his Bachelor of Arts from Simpson College. He was a WWII veteran who served in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge in 1946. Arlo retired as a Real Estate Broker from the Real Estate Company that he and his wife started. Arlo is survived by his sister, Norma; children, David (Patricia), Arla "Liz" (Jay) and Joseph (Cherie); and grandchildren, Elizabeth, Gabrielle and Andrew. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; parents, Andrew and Rose; and brothers, Robert and Laverne.
