April Suzanne Hein

April Suzanne Hein (Herbeck) passed away at home on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 after her battle with Parkinson’s disease and dementia.

April was born April 28, 1944 in Chicago, IL. Her love of the West moved her to NM in 1976 where she resided in the East Mountains for 40 years before moving to Albuquerque in 2016.

She was an avid animal lover, having raised dogs, cats, chickens, goats and horses.  She looked forward to her many trips abroad with family and friends.

April is survived by her daughter and #1 fan, Heather Ann Nelson; brother, Steven Herbeck and his wife, Kristin; nephew, Lt. Col Brendon Herbeck and his wife, Brittany and sons, Owen and Luke; and many great friends.
