Antonio "Tony" Hernandez, Jr.

Antonio "Tony" Hernandez Jr, age 64, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place on Saturday, October 22, 2022. He entered this world on February 27, 1958, in Fabens, TX. Tony was a graduate of Burges High School in El Paso, TX. He proudly served in the US Army from 1978 to 1989 and served over 40 years of federal government service. Tony was an avid golfer and spent much of his free time on the golf course with friends. He loved to play basketball, bowl, and spend time with his family. Tony was an adventurous, outgoing person and traveled to many places in the world. He loved to laugh. He was happiest when he saw his family enjoying life. He took great pride in all of his children and grandchildren.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Lavender and Aurora Humphrey, and his sister, Rosa Estrada. He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Carmen Hernandez; daughters, Melissa (John) Ayers, Monique (Beverly) Hernandez, and Amanda (Anthony) DiIenno; and son, Anthony (KC) Hernandez Jr. He leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Hannah, Nadine, Roman, Brandon, and Jeremiah; and his siblings, Yoly, Gina, Linda, Carol, and Carl.
Tony had many wonderful friends and work colleagues. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., with a Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 a.m., FRENCH - Westside.
