Anthony "Tony" S. Albano

Anthony “Tony” S. Albano passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born on Saturday, May 12, 1951 in Cicero, IL. Tony was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Albano; parents, Anthony J. Albano and Mary (Mallegni) Albano; and his brother, Terris J. Albano. He is survived by his brother, Thomas “Tom” Albano and wife, Bernell of Albuquerque, NM, and he was a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Tony and his wife Sharon, of 40 plus years, lived in Forest Park, IL, and planned to retire and join their family, Tom and Bernell in Albuquerque. After a brief illness, Sharon passed away in December 2016. Tony then made the move to Albuquerque. Tony quickly became a very active part of Sagebrush Church. For the last two plus years, Tony served in several areas of the church with his passion being mission work in impoverished countries. With his 40-year nursing experience, Tony brought medical assistance to people in need in places that included Egypt, Zambia, Haiti, and Belize. Tony will be dearly missed by the many friends and mission areas he came to know and love. In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family asks that all memorial donations be made to Sagebrush Church M1ssion, at www.sagebrush.church/M1ssion or mailed to Coors Blvd. 6440 Albuquerque, NM 87120 in memory of Anthony Albano. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, 4:00 p.m., at FRENCH - Westside.
