Anthony "Tony" Simoes

Anthony "Tony" Simoes, age 85, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2015. He was born in Providence, RI and joined the US Army in 1947. He was stationed in Albuquerque where he met the love of his life, Connie Padilla, his wife of 57 years who preceded him in death. As a Korean War Veteran, Tony's career was cut short because of a land mine injury.
Tony is survived by his children, Constance and husband Larry, Antoinette, Anthony and wife Terri, and Carrie and husband Bob; his grandchildren, Anthony, Raime, Gabriel, and Philip; and one great-grandchild Bradyn. Tony is also survived by his younger brother, Joseph Simoes of Riverside, RI. Tony was a welder and a machinist by trade but retired as a supervisor of Heavy Duty Equipment of KAFB.
Memorial Service will be Wednesday, November 18, 2015, 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH - University.
