Son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather, at peace at last. Tony was a kind, loving soul who was devoted to his family and friends. He left behind three children he treasured, Heather Wood and husband, Tyrone, Robin Varela and husband, Vincent, and Anthony Donato. He was blessed with six grandchildren, Vincent, Alina, Elijah, Tyrone, Avery, and Jacob who were the light of his life. He also leaves behind his brother, Edward Donato; sister, Arlynn Collard; mother, Mary Donato; and numerous nieces, nephews, and their families.
He was a talented professional systems administrator in the semiconductor industry and had a passion for restoring cars. He shared his home and love with his kitty, Itty Bitty, who he and Anthony rescued on one of their walks together. Tony gave generously of his time and talents to help anyone in need. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, April 28, 2017, 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper Ave. NW.
