Annie Sandoval

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister was called home to her maker on Saturday, December 22, 2012 after a long illness. Annie is survived by her husband, Restie, of 64 years; her daughter, Cecilia (Kiki); grandsons, Eric and Paul Madrid, Noah Trujillo, Scott and Danny Sandoval and Art Questas Sandoval; nine great-grand children; and one great-great granddaughter; brother, Ray and wife, Sadie Paiz; sister-in-law, Helen Sandoval; seventeen god-children; and several nieces and nephews. Annie was preceded in death by her parents, Hilaria and Julian Paiz; her in-laws, Restituto and Bernadita Sandoval; her sister, Dolores, and sister-in-law, Paula DeLong. A lifelong resident of Bernalillo, NM, born on January 27, 1930, Annie was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, where she taught catechism for 25 years. She was also a member of Catholic Daughters, Bernalillo Women's Club, and was Chairman of the USDA County Committee, working to help ranchers of the Cabezon Community to expand and grow their interests. Rosary will be recited Friday, December 28, 2012 at 7:00 pm at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church with Santiago Montoya reciting. Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church with Father Bill Sanchez officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Art Questas Sandoval, Scott Sandoval, Danny Sandoval, Indiana Madrid, Miguel Madrid, and Noah Trujillo.
