Annie Rose Martin

Annie Rose Martin, aged 92, died peacefully on Sunday, August 23, 2015. She is survived by her sisters, Delores Mathias, from Mountain View, CA, Laura Ortega, from Los Altos, CA; brother, Manuel Correia from Mountain View, CA; son, Joseph Martin, and his wife Sharon, from South Lake Tahoe, CA; daughter, Joanne Timmons and husband Richard, from Bosque Farms, NM; seven grandchildren, Melissa Brack and husband Chris, Joseph Timmons and wife Sabrina, Jennifer Bland and husband Emmitt, Joshua Martin and wife Mackenzie, Seth Martin and wife Kelly, Sarah Sabourin and husband Ian, and Kyle Martin; 13 great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. Annie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Martin; grandson, Aaron Chenoweth; and several brothers and sisters. Annie was born in 1923, in Mountain View, CA to the late Manuel and Mary Correia. Annie and her late husband, Joseph retired to Bosque Farms, NM in the late 1980's. She loved working in her rose garden. Annie was a cheerful person, enjoyed life, and loved to share a joke. She was an avid sports fan, loving her San Francisco 49er's and Giants. The love of her life was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Friends may visit FRENCH - University Friday, August 28, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Service will be held at the Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum, Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, Saturday, August 29, 2015, 2:00 p.m. Entombment will follow.
