Annie Romero Lucero

Annie Lucero, age 105, passed away peacefully at home and was lifted by the angels on Wednesday, October 1, 2014. Annie was a beloved and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Leo; her daughters, JoAnn Carrara (Bruno) and Margie Smokov; grandchildren, Robert Olsen, Gayle Olsen (Harvey), Maria Gonzales, Eric Smokov (Shawn), Stephanie Francis (Paul), Jeanna MacDonald (Rocky), Justin Bowie and Thomas Bowie; great-grandchildren, Maggie, Logan, Wesley, Eugene, Sophia, Ian and Augustus; siblings, Julian (Mary), Tom (Olga), Joe and Mary; sister-in-law, Eufrasia; and many godchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Annie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, October 8, 2004, 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas, with visitation one hour prior from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Communion Service will be Thursday, October 9, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, Lomas and Tennessee. Committal will take place at a later date.
