Anne B. Lily

Anne B. Lily, age 97, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Anne was born in France but came to the United States at an early age. In the late 1950's, she moved to New Mexico where she resided for the remainder of her life. Professionally Anne spent many years in the nursing field. She was an avid walker and loved the New Mexico climate, especially the sunshine. She held Jemez Springs, NM deeply in her heart.

Though Anne had no family in the traditional sense, she is survived by the family she chose, Marian Sotel, Connie Ryan, Greg, David and Sharon Ryan. She is also survived by Tom Hess, Wendy and Jeff Buckels, Rita and Tony Padilla, Gracie Michel, Gorky Pacha, and Jean Hooten, her loving friends and neighbors in the Los Padillas neighborhood where she lived happily for many years.

Anne's story is not defined by the end but by the life and love she shared with all who knew her. Funeral services are pending.
