AnnaMarie Dobbins

AnnaMarie Dobbins went to heaven on April 8, 2013 at the age of 94. She lived fully and bravely and is survived by three children, Maureen, Steve and Rosemarie; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many friends. Her husband, William (Bill), predeceased her. She always looked so young and had so much energy that people adopted her into their families. She is dearly loved and greatly missed. She will be interned at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. There is a non-viewing mass on Friday, April 12, 2013 at 9:15 a.m. at Sangre De Christo Catholic Church, 8901 Candelaria Road NE, with a memorial slide show reception to follow at 10 a.m. AnnaMarie graduated from Mercy Academy in Louisville, KY and moved to Albuquerque in 1948. She worked closely with the Dominican Retreat House, Our Lady of Fatima and Sangre De Christo. She was a member of Guess Who's Coming to Dinner; played golf with the Elk's Ladies and loved to dance to the big bands. Nineteen cruises enjoyed her company and she traveled extensively. In any difficulty her courage and joyful spirit were quite humbling. We love you AnnaMarie. In lieu of flowers, consider contributions to Legion of Mary or Sangre de Christo church.
