Annabel Lee White, age 91, died at home on Wednesday, February 6, 2019. She was born May 31, 1927 in Pollock, Missouri to William and Lenna Hill. As a young girl, her family moved to Wyoming where she graduated from Cody High School and then attended the University of Wyoming. She married her high school sweetheart, Robert White, on March 25, 1946. She taught elementary school before becoming a full-time homemaker and mother to their son; and three daughters. The family moved to Albuquerque in 1952 and she became involved in the many activities of their growing children as well as providing a loving, nurturing home environment and maintaining a garden. After the children left home, she and Robert became “weekend” farmers on five acres with a small house in the Estancia Valley basin. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia von Tellrop; and grandson, Jimmy. She is survived by Robert, her husband of nearly 73 years; her sister, Kay Brittain; son, Robert and wife Cindy; daughters, Kathy Zurek and Judy Rader; four grandsons; four granddaughters; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was loved by all who knew her and will be sorely missed. Visitation will be Friday, February 15, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH - University with Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
