Anna Lorene Wagner

December 14, 1976 — January 9, 2015

Anna Lorene Wagner was born December 14, 1976 in Albuquerque, NM. Anna, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died on January 9, 2015. She is survived by one child, Austin Benedict of Albuquerque; her mother, Jo Anne of Albuquerque; two brothers, Donovan Vaughn Wagner of Tucson, AZ and Wade Alan Wagner of Albuquerque; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a large circle of friends. She is also survived by Pugly, Roscoe, and Cami, her beloved dogs. She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Donovan Wagner; and her grandparents, Donovan (Bill) McKinley and Sadie Lorene Wagner and Mike Russell and Jeanis May Terry. Anna graduated from LaCueva High School and attended Central NM College and other educational institutions. She worked as a certified nursing assistant for many years. She loved camping and fishing with family and friends. Listening to music was a great enjoyment to her. She also rescued animals and volunteered at various community functions. Anna loved driving and traveling to various locations. In her spare time, she loved to swim and even served as a lifeguard and swim instructor. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Anna had a quirky sense of humor and could make "funny" out of anything. Anna's friends have said that she was a dear and cherished friend whose sweet, positive spunkiness will forever be missed and that she shall be in their hearts forever. She was an easy person to love and was loved by many. Our hearts are broken by her untimely death. Services will be held Saturday, January 17, 2015, 1:00 p.m., at St. John's United Methodist Church, 2626 Arizona NE. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
