Anna Margaret (Pacheco) Tapia

Anna "Margie" Tapia, 89, born on Monday, December 19, 1932 in Albuquerque, NM, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her family and loved ones on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Adela Pacheco; sister, Georgia Robles; brothers, Albert, Bennie, Johnny, Gilfred, and Anthony Pacheco, by her husband, Frank A. Tapia; her son, Frank O. Tapia and his wife, Diane Tapia; and son-in-law, Robert Sanchez. She is survived by her sisters, Rosie Andrade and family, Gloria Lucero and family, and Dellie Ipiotis and family; her brothers, George Pacheco and family, Abel Pacheco and family, and Lawrence Pacheco and family; her daughters, Patsy Montoya and sons, Paul and Patrick, Rita and Greg Ortiz, sons, Arthur and Josh, Freida and Gilbert Padilla, sons, Jacob and Gabriel Tapia, daughters, Felisha Salazar, Alexandria Rubio, Charity Knuckolls, and Savanna Saavedra, Maria and Troy Tapia, son, Moses Tapia and daughter, Delilah Tapia, and her son, David Tapia and grandson, Garrett Tapia; sisters-in-law, Sally Rivera and family, Mary Martinez and family, Lucy Pacheco and family, and Jan Pacheco and family. Also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren who lovingly called her Grams, Grammy and Tita.

She was an AMAZING woman who loved the Lord and taught her family to love the Lord. Anna was a pillar of strength, love, and forgiveness to all who knew her including her church and the Al-Anon community. She always welcomed family or company into her home, insisting that they have something to eat or drink and whatever it was it was always delicious!

SHE WILL BE LOVED FOREVER AND MISSED!!

A Rosary will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2022, 9:00 a.m., with a Mass to follow at 9:30 a.m., at Holy Family Church. She will be laid to rest with her husband, Frank Adenago Tapia at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date.
