Anna Brown

June 17, 1931 — August 19, 2024

Anneliese Brown, a retired Nurse and Albuquerque resident since 1965, passed away Monday, August 19, 2024. Born in Germany, she lived there, New York, Michigan, and Japan before settling in New Mexico. With her late husband, Air Force MSgt. James L Brown, she also traveled the world.

She is survived by her sons Rudy, David and Dean; as well as four grandchildren; Aryn, Alec, Kayla, Kelsy; and her great-granddaughter Avery. She also leaves behind many long-term friends. Ann lived the American dream, and her pursuit of education and tendency to work hard and invest intelligently made her a success. She was a great wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, cook and baker; and will be missed by all.

A private family and friends memorial service will be held later. Cremation is being handled by FRENCH- Lomas and her ashes will be scattered privately. If her friends desire to do so, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
