Anna Rallis Argeanas

Anna Rallis Argeanas passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 following an illness. She was born on April 4, 1929 in Porovitsa, Greece and came to Clovis, NM at the age of nineteen. She married Mike T. Argeanas on February 17, 1952 in Albuquerque. She was married for 58 years and was a loving Mom and Yia Yia. Anna was a wonderful cook, loved gardening and had traveled all over the world. Her family called her the "tour guide" because she was very outgoing and would start a conversation with everyone she met. She was preceded in death by son, Ted in 2009 and husband, Mike in 2010. Anna is survived by son, Alex Argeanas and wife, Betsy and their children, Cooper and Sianna; daughter, Sia Raymondi and husband, Rick and their children, Ann Marie, Rick and Mike and grandson, Mike Argeanas; brother, Sam Rallis and wife, Vickie; brother, Gus Rallis and wife, Sirmo, sisters-in-law, Esther Auld and Christine Argeanas; brother-in-law, John Argeanas; and many nieces and nephews. Anna was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church and Philoptochos Society. A Trisagion will be on Sunday, June 28, 2015, 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Services will be Monday, June 29, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at St. George Orthodox Church, 308 High Street Street SE with Father Conan Gill officiating. Interment will follow the service at Fairview Memorial Park followed by a luncheon at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Church.
