Ann Wegman

Ann Wegman, 79, passed away Friday, August 21, 2015 at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, NM, after a long battle with respiratory ailments. Ann was born November 5, 1935, in Warroad, MN, to Levi and Marie Ganyo. She married Ken Wegman on June 13, 1964, in Warroad, MN. Ann enjoyed working as a welfare case worker for the State of New Mexico. The Wegmans lived in San Jose, CA, Pine Island, MN, Dodge Center, MN, and Socorro, NM, before retiring to Albuquerque, NM. Ann was known for her caring nature and numerous volunteer projects, especially with the churches she belonged to. Ann was also a big fan of Lobo basketball. She is survived by her husband, Ken, of Albuquerque; her children, Susan Wegman of Rochester, MN and Elizabeth Langworthy of Pine Island, MN, and grandchildren, Sophia, Noelle, and Daniel Langworthy of Pine Island, MN. She is also survived by her brothers, Dwaine Ganyo of San Antonio, TX, Roger (Pat) Ganyo of Oak Park Heights, MN and David (Mary) Ganyo of Nevis, MN, and her sister, Joy Ganyo, of Northfield, MN. She also leaves many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her sister, Dawna Reynolds.
