Ann Pope

Ann Pope age 92 passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021. She was born Saturday, August 25,1928 in Santa Fe N.M. Ann is survived by her children, daughter, Dotti Sell and husband Bud; son, Orrmond Pope and wife Jocelyn; daughter, Rhonda Prando and husband Mike; daughter, Gayle Torres; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Jack Pope, and her son Kevin Pope. Ann retired from Albuquerque Public Schools where she worked as a baker. For many years she was at Taft Middle School and finished her career at Del Norte High School. She took pride in providing a hot meal for hundreds of kids throughout the years. Ann loved cooking and baking and especially enjoyed feeding family and friends. She will always be remembered for her friendly and outgoing personality; Ann quickly made friends everywhere she went. She will be dearly missed by all who had the honor of knowing and loving her. A private family service will be held for Ann. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Sunset Memorial Park.
