Ann Poling

Ann Reid Poling was born Anna Katherine Reid on April 22, 1928, in Buffalo, New York to Maud Brown Reid and the Rev. S. Leslie Reid. Her older brother and sister, John and Janet, were twins. Ann earned a BA from the College of Wooster, Ohio, where she met her husband to be, David Poling of El Paso. They married in 1950 and had four children, John, Lesley, Andrew, and Charles. Ann, David, and the family moved from New York to New Mexico in 1971 where Ann enjoyed her horses, dogs, cats, and eventually eight grandchildren, and continued her love of music, painting, and the great outdoors. David Poling passed in July 2022. Ann passed on September 21, 2024 at the age of 96. She is survived by her four children and eight grandchildren.
