Ann Glover, born in Skidmore, Missouri in 1923, died December 6, 2015 in Albuquerque of natural causes. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Gordon Glover. She is survived by her son, Tom Glover and wife, Mary; daughter, Pat Glover; two granddaughters, Trisha and Carrie; her sister Barbara Clyde and husband Wallace, and two nieces, Beth and Susan. Ann attended the University of Alabama until World War II broke out, and subsequently received her MS in guidance and counseling at Western New Mexico University in 1960. She was a guidance counselor and home economics teacher at Stout Junior High in Silver City in the 1960's and then a guidance counselor and psych teacher at Cobre High School in Bayard until her retirement in 1981. She loved to travel, and she and Gordon saw much of the world together. After his death, Ann continued to travel with her daughter on both business and pleasure trips. During her lifetime, Ann was very active in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held at a later date at Monte Vista Christian Church, 3501 Campus Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Ann's name to Monte Vista Christian Church, or to your favorite charity.
