Ann Louise (Temer) Franklin

August 16, 1932 — April 12, 2022

Ann "Nana" Louise Franklin (Nee Temer), 89, joined her beloved parents, husband, son, brothers, and sister, as she transitioned on April 12, 2022, after a long illness which she fought and cursed until the end. Ann, along with her late husband, James "Jim" Franklin, were long time educators in the Albuquerque Public School System and deeply valued education. She was an avid gardener and once spring arrived, she could be found tending to the flora in her beautiful backyard. Ann also enjoyed music and reading. She especially loved reading the mysteries of Tony Hillerman.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Solomon, and Zelda Temer; her husband James "Jim" Franklin; her son, Jon Maeker; her brothers, George and Bob Morgan; and her sister, Sr. Annina Morgan "Aunt Gina". She is survived by her children Marianne Brown and her partner Jamie Reagan, Mike Maeker, and Debbie Price and her husband Sean Price; grandchildren, (Marianne) Kylene Brown and Aaron Brown, (Mike) Ryan Maeker, (Debbie) Sara and husband Paul Robinson, Leah Harrison, Rachel Spitler and Abby and her wife Natalie Price-Martinez; and great-grandchildren (Kylene) Forrest Hillary and Makayla Lawrence, (Aaron) Solomon Martinez and partner Tay Ad, (Sara) Elly and Jack Robinson, (Leah) Avery, Zoe and Reagan (Abby) Zelda Price-Martinez.

The family will have a private service with burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers are Mike Maeker, Ryan Maeker, Aaron Brown, Solomon Martinez, Jamie Reagan, and Sean Price.

Nana, enjoy your reunion with everyone there...we will all see you later...well, some of us might not!
