Anita Sanchez

A long time resident of Albuquerque, NM, went to be with our Lord and Savior on February 27, 2013. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Manuel Sanchez of Albuquerque, NM. In addition, she is survived by her son, Manny Sanchez; daughter Linda and her husband Joe; brother Alfonso Martinez and his wife Solie; and brother Joseph Martinez and his wife Lorraine. She had seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and Godchildren. Anita was preceded in death by her parents, Alfonso and Mabel Martinez and her sisters Julie Lucero and Bonnie Martinez. Anita was a beloved wife and mother. She enjoyed traveling, bowling, playing cards, and spending time with friends. Most recently, sharing pictures and updates on Facebook. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, March 8, 2013 at Sangre De Cristo Catholic Church, 8901 Candelaria Rd., at 10:00 a.m. with a funeral mass to follow. The burial will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date. Honorary Pallbearers are her five grandsons, JM Sanchez, Tyler Sanchez, Damon Sanchez, Matthew Leong and Michael Leong.
