Anita L. Kelly

Anita L. Kelly, passed away on April 6, 2017.

She was born in East St Louis on January 24, 1930. She married Ruben Kelly in 1949 and moved with her family to Albuquerque in 1957. Her husband of 60 years, Ruben D. Kelly, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sisters Juanita Hoelscher and Patricia Pittman. She is also survived by her; first daughter Carol and husband Curtis Montman, their daughter, Rebecca and her husband Jeffrey; second daughter Janet and husband Dennis Mewshaw, their daughter, Marie; son David Kelly and wife, Velma, their daughter Fern Anita; and third daughter Kathleen Kelly.

The family wishes to thank her special caregiver, Yvonne, who provided friendship, adventures, and kind, loving care, to Anita for many years. The family also wishes to acknowledge the members of Our Lady of Annunciation Catholic Church Quilting Group for their consistent friendship and support throughout the years. And to thank her wonderful neighbors who helped her remain independent in her home.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 27th 2017, at 8:30 a.m.at Our Lady of Annunciation Catholic Church, 2621 Vermont NE. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd, NE.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Casa Angelica, 5629 Isleta Blvd. SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105 or a charity of your choice.
