Beloved Anita Grace Squires known to her friends as "Bo” came into this world on July 9, 1921 and passed on to the next on May 8, 2017. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 12 years, Alfred Reed McLaughlin and by her second husband of 49 years, August Francis Berg. She is survived by her son, Donald Reed McLaughlin; daughter-in-law, Linda Irene Bertelson McLaughlin; grandchildren, Michael Reed McLaughlin, Mark Alan McLaughlin, David Paul McLaughlin, Heather Elizabeth Corn, Joseph Nelson McLaughlin, Bonnie Jean Anderson; 20 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Bo led a rich professional and social life and especially enjoyed card and board games and her favorite hobbies making greeting cards, ceramic and stained glass decorative objects.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, May 20, 2017, 3:00 p.m., at the Village at Alameda, 8810 Horizon Blvd. NE, Albuquerque.
