Angie Duran, Mom, Sister, Auntie,Grandma Angie, Grandma Duran, 88, our beloved mother and grandmother went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after a courageous battle of Cancer she passed peacefully in her home on April 8th, 2022. Angie Duran was born March 20, 1934,in Maxwell, NM to Leo and Leonires Espinosa. Angie Duran deceased on April 8th, 2022, in Albuquerque, NM.
Angie Duran is proceeded in death by her late husband Eugene J. Duran; parents Leo and Leonires Espinosa, siblings John Espinosa and Stella Trujillo.Angie is survived by her three loving children: son, Gene (wife Judy) Duran, of Raton, NM, daughter, Donna (husband George) Ronquillo, of Albuquerque, NM, youngest son, Anthony (wife Deanna) Duran of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Sonya (husband Gene) Olguin, Geno Duran, Felicia (husband Damian) Medina, Celina (husband Chris) Sanchez, Rachel (husband Andres) Duran, Gabriel (wife Aundria) Duran, Mandy (husband Moises) Morales, Adrian (wife Siobhan) Duran, Jaime Duran (husband Felipe Diaz), Shannon Morales, Joshua (wife Patricia) Duran, Elijah Duran,Mariah Duran, Ezekiel Duran. Twenty-three great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and one on the way. Two sisters Annie Trujillo of Raton NM, Susie Griego of Auora, CO and many nieces and nephews.
Angie loved life and enjoyed spending her time with her family. She loved to travel and attend concerts. Angie was an amazing cook. Angie served in the DAV & DAVA NM, she served in the ladies Auxiliary as a commander from 1989-1993,she traveled to many states and conventions, she was a dedicated advocate for the Disabled American Veterans, she was well respected for her head position of her district and all her dedication and hard work was recognized with numerous awards and certificates for all her hard work in her district. While Angie’s family mourns her passing, we cherish the knowledge that she is now free from pain and is in the Glory of God FOREVER and we will we be reunited with her in God’s perfect timing.
There will be two Celebration of Life:
The first one will be held on Thursday, April 21st, 2022, 11:00 a.m.at New Beginnings Church 4770 Montgomery Blvd, Albuquerque, NM.
Second Celebration will be held Friday, April 22nd, 2022, 2:00 p.m.at Mesa Church 917 South 2nd Raton, NM 87740.
