Angelika Choudhry

Angelika Choudhry, a loving mother and wife passed away on February 28, 2023, after a long battle with cancer.

Angelika was born in Germany and created beautiful displays for retail showrooms while working as an interior decorator. She moved to the American desert southwest with her first husband and young boys because she enjoyed bright and sunny weather with enchanting views of New Mexico.
She truly cared for everyone in her life in every way possible by maintaining a very inviting home, providing great advice, home cooked meals, and plenty of hugs while raising her family. Angelika's interests included reading, gardening, photography, art, painting, home improvements, and interior decorating. She created a colorful garden teaming with life. She and her second husband also shared their home with a lost puppy, a couple of stray cats, and box turtles that filled her heart with joy. Most importantly her presence and sweet personality would fill any place with a welcoming vibe that made everyone smile. Her biggest wish was that she could have shown everyone close to her even more love.

Angelika succeeded in life. She won the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children. She always found the best in people and left the world a better place. Angelika is forever loved by her family, neighbors, and local clients. In lieu of flowers Angelika asks that you donate to your favorite charity to make the world a little better. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023, 2:00 p.m., at FRENCH - Lomas.
