Angela "Angie" Louise Henton

Angela "Angie" Louise Henton was born on March 17, 1964 on a St. Patrick's Day in Massachusetts, Kansas, in the United States of America. Angie passed away on an autumn day on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, peacefully surrounded by her three children and multiple grandchildren. Angie was and will always remain a beloved soul who is a strong child of God. She loved to sing and dance to country music, and she will forever be loved and missed tremendously by her children and her many grandchildren.

Angela is preceded in death by her mother Helen L. (Halloway) Henton, her father, Gary R. Henton, her younger brother, Duane R. Henton, and the love of her life, our beloved father, Wendel W. Wasson Sr. Angie is succeeded in death by her daughter, Darlene V. Henton and partner Kyle Hiatt, her first son, Wendel W. Wasson Jr. and partner Amanda Lopez, and her youngest son, Anthony J. Wasson and partner Elizabeth Farina. She will also be dearly missed by her nine amazing grandchildren whom she was so proud of, Savanah Henton and Mia Hiatt, Andre Wasson, Isaac Wasson, Shayla Lopez, Raelynn Wasson, and Luciano Wasson, Sariah Wasson and her brand new grandson, Josiah Wasson. Angie also leaves behind her nephew James DeSoto and his partner and three kids, as well as her nephew Joshua DeSoto. Angie also leaves behind her best friend, Miss Leona Otero, and many more family, friends, and neighbors. We will all miss and cherish her one of a kind witty, outgoing personality. Rest in Peace with God and our Lord Jesus Christ for Eternity, Mom. We will keep your memory and your spirit alive until our last breath.

Services are to be held at French Funerals and Cremations on Eubank and Lomas on Monday, October 14, 2024, with a public viewing from 1-2 PM. Services will be held from 2-3 PM, with a reception to follow at the same location. Please send any flowers to the French location on Eubank and Lomas.
