Angela Griego

GRIEGO, ANGELA D.Jesus our Lord and Savior called Angela Griego (62), resident of Albuquerque, NM, home to heaven on November 20th, 2012, relieving her of her fight with breast cancer. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Leonard Griego and son, Carlos Griego; daughter-in-law, Lauren Griego and 3 grandchildren Jordyn, Brayden and Cody all residents of Albuquerque, NM; Angela's mother, Zita Gonzales (Albuquerque); brother, Tony Jo Gonzales, and his wife, Martha who reside in San Francisco, CA. Angela is also survived by her stepdaughter, Keri Baugh and her husband, Daniel who reside in Plano, TX. Angela was a lifelong teacher, starting her career at Corrales Elementary and ending it 35 years later at Dennis Chavez Elementary as a 4th grade teacher. Angela was a member of Redemption Church, pastored by her son, Carlos, in Rio Rancho, NM. She was an avid Lobo Basketball fan, and a loving Nana to her grandkids. A Memorial Service for Angela will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Desert Springs Church, 705 Osuna Rd., Albuquerque, NM 87113, her son, Carlos will be officiating the service.
