Andrew was born in Albuquerque, NM to Mercedes and Bernhardt Lorenzen. He passed away surrounded by family after a short battle with cancer on Friday, July 15, 2016. He was 53 years old.
Andrew was preceded in death by his father, Bernhardt Lorenzen. He is survived by his mother, Mercedes Lorenzen; daughter, Jerika Lorenzen; son, Jheridan Lorenzen; their mother, Brenda Leslie; granddaughter, Aryah Lopez Lorenzen; sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and Chris Hilleary; brother and sister-in-law, Lorenz and Colleen Lorenzen from Baltimore, MD; a niece, three nephews and many special and dear friends.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at FRENCH - University. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2016, 8:30 a.m., at Our Lady of the Annunciation Parish Church, 2621 Vermont Street NE, with Rev. Msgr. Bennett J. Voorhies officiating. Interment will be at the family plot in Tucumcari, NM. Pallbearers will be: Jheridan Lorenzen, Lorenz Lorenzen, Chris Hilleary, Sean Hilleary, Randy Payne, and Reggie Payne.
To celebrate Andrew's life, his family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the UNM College of Nursing Scholarship Fund.
