Andrew James Kindred, age 72, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017. Andy was known for his endless humor, generous spirit, and country cookin'. He is survived by his wife, Adrienne; his daughter, Andrea and Erik Johnson; and his grandson, Walker. He is also survived by his siblings, Dorothy and Arthur Posey, John Jr. and Sheila Kindred, and Corliss Kindred; and his niece, Leonia Wade. Always the life of the party, Andy also leaves an endless company of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Flora and John Kindred; his brother, Ersie Kindred; and his sister, Cora Kindred.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, May 5, 2017, 11:00 a.m., at Grant Chapel AME, 7920 Claremont Ave. NE.
