Andrew W. Frazier, Jr., age 54, died peacefully at home on November 24, 2015 after struggling for many years with multiple illnesses. He was born November 28, 1960 in Sacramento, CA.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Susie Frazier, William "Bill" and Lucy Herre, and Rosalind Ratzlow; uncle, Robert "Jerry" Frazier; aunt and cousin, Etta and Jeff Skinner; and aunt, Virginia Edwards. He is survived by his parents, Andrew, Sr. and Norma Frazier; son, Charles "Chad" Frazier; former wife, Vickie Frazier of Broken Bow, OK; mother, Carol Brister of Columbus, GA; sisters, Sandra (Robert) Sanchez-Armijo and Kathryn (Jason) Simmons; brother, Paul (Emily) Frazier of Houston, TX; niece, Jennifer Doby; nephews, Steven and Caden Doby, Miles, Oliver and Reid Frazier of Houston, TX, and Gunnar Simmons; uncles, William "Bill" Edwards, Fred "Buddy" (Marie) Frazier and James "Bo" Skinner ; aunts, Patricia (Alan) Dodd of Portales, NM and Roberta Ratzlow; and numerous cousins all of Albuquerque, NM, unless otherwise noted.
Andy worked as a certified welder, journeyman plumber, warehouse manager and purchasing agent. He enjoyed working with computers and created programs to enhance his jobs. He raced stock cars as a young man and was an avid NASCAR fan with a lifetime collection of miniature race cars.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 4, 2015, 2:00 p.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul Blvd NE, with Rev. Clair Dutton officiating. Ennichment will follow with Paul Frazier as urnbearer. A reception will follow the service at the Moose Lodge, 2121 Edith Blvd NE.
