Andrellita Gomez

Age 98, a resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, September 14, 2013. She is survived by daughters, Frances Tafoya and husband, Cecil, Cora Jaramillo and husband, Robert, Mary Aranda and husband, Joe, all of Albuquerque; her grandchildren, Steve Tafoya and wife, Vicky, Ray Tafoya and wife, Sheila, all of Colorado, Daniel Jaramillo, Brenda Jaramillo, James Aranda and Sharon Aranda, all of Albuquerque; great grandchildren, Leanne, Jaime, Andrew Tafoya and many other family and friends. Mrs. Gomez was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Serafin who was the love of her life; her parents, Pedro and Adeloypa Montoya; her brothers, Reyes, Ambrosio, Florentino, Sofio and their wives; her sister, Tomasita; her half brother, Leopoldo and half sister, Antonia. She was born in Carthage, NM on July 24, 1915 and was the youngest of 6 children. Andrellita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be greatly missed. She was a member of The Shrine of St Bernadette Catholic Community. The Mass of Ressurection will be celebrated Thursday, September 19, 2013, 9:00 a.m. at The Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Community, 11401 Indian School Road N.E. with burial to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve Tafoya, Ray Tafoya, Andrew Tafoya, Robert Jaramillo, James Aranda and Sharon Aranda.
