Amparo Rey Navarrette, 86, beloved sister and aunt passed away Friday, July 24, 2015.
She was known for her gentle soul and kind heart. She is survived by her sisters, Zenaida A. Navarrette and Anita Pena; brother, Alvaro Navarrette; and sister in law, Ynez Navarrette. She also leaves many cherished nieces and nephews. Amparo was preceded in death by her parents, David and Maria Navarrette; brothers David, Robert and Salvador Navarrette; and sister, Leonor Luna.
Rosary will be Sunday, July 26, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH-Lomas Chapel, 10500 Lomas NE. Funeral Mass will be on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 811 Guaymas Place, NE. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul NE.
