Allan Wehking Kurman

Allan Wehking Kurman, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021. Allan was born on April 12, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois. He attended the University of New Mexico. He began his career in radio broadcasting at age 13 in St. Louis, Missouri. Allan also lived and worked in Chicago, Gallup and El Paso, and then spent 30 years in Chicago. Allan married Suzanne McGroarty in 1958. They had three children, Patrick Kurman and wife, Denise, Andrea Goodbar and husband, James, and Amy Siedlecki and husband, Peter. They have three grandchildren, Christa and Melissa Kurman, and Andrew Goodbar. The couple returned to Albuquerque in 1983 and continued their broadcasting careers there.
