Alison Rae Wilson (known to her friends as Bunny), beloved daughter, sister, and friend, entered eternal rest on Monday, January 18, 2021 due to a fatal automobile accident in the mountains, north of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Alison was born on Tuesday, March 16, 1993 in Conroe, TX. She grew up in The Woodlands, TX and graduated from Kingwood High School in 2011. She recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychological, Health, & Learning Science from University Of Houston on Friday, December 18, 2020. While attending University of Houston, Alison proudly worked as a librarian on campus, was a member of the Texas Army National Guard, and completed a successful internship with the Central New Mexico United Way towards the end of her senior year. Alison had multiple interests, including geology, cross country running, cheerleading, hiking, glamping, festivals of all types, arts and crafts, and alternative music. Alison was known to everyone as an extremely intelligent, artistic, creative, and spiritual young lady who’s beautiful smile opened doors, solidified friendships, and mended broken hearts. Recently, Alison considered herself a member of one of Houston, Texas’ socially inclusive LGBTQ+ alliances, and drew deep satisfaction from the lifetime friendships she formed there. Alison is survived by her mother, Christine Liesmann, step-father Col Michael Liesmann, father Kevin Wilson, sisters Kelsey Wilson and Emma Liesmann, grandmothers Joann Matheny and Maryann Rohrbach, grandfather Rev Ronald Liesmann, her three beloved partners, Tessa, Adam and Jason and numerous other uncles, aunts, cousins, family and friends. Throughout her life, Alison was a strong advocate for vehicle safety, including driving sober, and wearing a seatbelt. Please honor Alison’s memory through responsible drinking, and buckling up to drive. In closing, we trust that God has wrapped his loving arms around Alison and brought her home to heaven. We are grateful for the 27 amazing years we had with her on this earth. We rest assured in the knowledge that we will all be reunited someday.
(Memorial services are delayed due to COVID. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the United Way in memory of Alison.)
