When: Saturday, February 6, 2021

Time: 1:00pm - 4:00pm

Where: Alisha's home - 3412 Sequoia Ct. NE, Albuquerque, NM, 87111

We wanted to share some wonderful thoughts from her children and boyfriend -

Mom was a special person in our lives. One thing that always made me so proud to say was that she had us four kids at such a young age. We lived a comfortable life because of her hard work and dedication to us. She was able to juggle having multiple children, marriage, friendships, college, a career and many more things. Mom taught us what hard work and balance really was.  - Love Erik

“Mothers hold their children's hands for a while, but their hearts forever." – Unknown Never will I forget the nights we couldn’t sleep so we would put on The Titanic in the living room and Mom would make us a midnight snack, white rice and butter. Or if we were in the mood, Malt-o-Meal! I miss her laugh and her hugs, and her fierce loyalty no matter the circumstances. She was my rock and I will miss her everyday. - Love Erinn

Leesh the love of my life. I will always remember the fun and amazing woman you were.  I’ll never forget how much you loved riding the bike going on adventures and planning trips. You learned so fast how to handle a firearm and the huge smile on your face when you scored above all the other women in our CCP course.  You would always want to go on all the hunting trips.  You will always have my soul and I will forever miss you.  - Love J.

Alisha Montoya was a mother to four kids of her own. I happen to be the youngest of the four. My mother taught us how to be strong and independent. She taught us to be honest, brave and outgoing. She wasn't only our mother, she was our best friend in different ways for each of us. Her and I would share laughs by dancing together in the kitchen at 2:00 in the morning on a weekend. We would scream at the top of our lungs singing to each other like no one could ever hear us. If any of us were going through a hard time, we always knew that she would be right there to listen to us. My mom and I would spend a day in Santa Fe having lunch together and seeing our grandpa. Those days were truly the best days that I spent with her. I, including my whole family, loved her dearly. She was so amazing in her own way and we will never forget how she changed our lives being our mother, sister, daughter etc. We love you so much and miss you dearly.  Love, Emily

Mom taught all of us to get after what we loved to do. Sometimes we get too occupied with that to realized that the older we get the older our parents get too. I know that she is proud of each and every one of us. But, in this moment I am in heartbreak and utter disbelief. I wish she was here to witness what life has to offer her children and the rest of her family. She will be missed by all and thought of daily. My life will never be same. My only hope is for her to never be forgotten as the beautiful person, loving mother, and most of all my best friend for her whole life. I appreciate all of her friends, family and community members in supporting her children during this time. Love, Evynn
